Tewksbury School Committee Unanimously Approves Dr. Milligan as Next Superintendent

TEWKSBURY — May 18, 2026 — Tewksbury School Committee voted 4-0 to hire Dr. Nancy Milligan as superintendent under a three-year contract beginning July 1, 2026. The special meeting, called after the committee's May 13 session was canceled, lasted just ten minutes and opened with a moment of silence for recently deceased member Jamey Cutelis. Vice Chair Kayla Biagioni-Smith moved to approve the contract, seconded by Clerk Ryan Lloyd, with Chair Bridget Garabedian and member Chris Moncada also voting aye. Milligan, who has served as the district's assistant superintendent for two years, told the committee she was "more than honored to be appointed."
