Tewksbury Conservation Commission Continues Disputed Compliance Request, Approves Amended Wetland Order
TEWKSBURY — March 18, 2026 — Tewksbury Conservation Commission continues disputed certificate of compliance request and advances mixed-use development review. The commission voted unanimously to continue the Certificate of Compliance request from Kazanjian Enterprises, Inc., for 2512 Main Street to its April 8 meeting after members determined the applicant's original order of conditions had expired, leaving approximately 282 square feet of unpermitted impervious area within the wetland buffer zone with no active permit to cover its removal. Chairman Daniel Ronan and member Linda Darveau pressed the applicants — represented by Troy Stearns and Jim Hanley of Civil Design Consultants — to file a Request for Determination of Applicability before returning. The commission separately approved, 5-0, an amended wetland order for BSC Group at 200 Ames Pond Drive, covering minor repositioning of an eyewash station and nitrogen tank pad, and continued a Notice of Intent and Land Disturbance application from AJM Construction for a proposed 14-unit, mixed-use redevelopment at 1325 Main Street to April 22 pending resolution of unaddressed peer review comments. Conservation Agent Abigail Mahoney also announced a second public forum on the town's Open Space and Recreation Plan for March 24 at the Tewksbury Recreation Center.
